Hello! I’m Sarvi Chahal, a Certified Professional Coach with a passion for empowering individuals and fostering deeper connections. With over 30 years of experience in both the public and private sectors, I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of people, helping them transform their lives and achieve their goals. ​
My expertise is not only backed by my qualifications— I am a CORE Dynamic Specialist for both Leadership and Wellbeing, an Energy Master Practi, and am currently expanding my knowledge through studies in Psychoanalysis Psychotherapy. This unique blend of skills allows me to combine coaching, therapy, and consulting to provide a holistic, well-rounded approach to your personal and professional development.
My Story
Rediscovering Authenticity: Embracing Life Beyond Expectations
From a young age, I became acutely aware of the forces shaping my life—gender expectations, family traditions, societal pressures, and social status. Growing up in India, these were deeply embedded in everyday life. But when I moved to England at 17, I was suddenly thrown into a world far more complex and layered than I could have imagined. I found myself juggling three worlds: my Indian heritage, my experience as an Indian in England, and my life outside the home—at school and work. It was overwhelming, and at times, the uncertainty made it easier to simply avoid confronting the pressures I was facing.

In the workplace, gender and cultural biases hit hard. I was told my background was a barrier to career progression and that leadership roles were reserved for men. At home, traditional roles as a wife, mother, and daughter were expected of me. There seemed to be no escape from these pressures, and expressing frustration felt selfish. So, I bottled it all up.

Eventually, these external forces wore down my confidence, leaving me feeling invisible. I got caught in a cycle of resentment, blaming the world for my struggles. Yet, there was always a quiet curiosity about human behaviour within me—a voice urging me to reflect and understand myself better.

Through this journey, I learned that life isn’t about fitting into others’ expectations or following a set path. It’s about finding meaning in our choices, embracing both the highs and lows. As a coach, I’ve realised that everyone’s journey is unique, and there’s always something to learn from each story. Every conversation enriches my understanding of the human experience, reminding me of the importance of empathy, connection, and personal growth.

Ultimately, my journey has been about rediscovering who I truly am—healing past wounds, embracing authenticity, and letting go of the pressures that no longer serve me. Through it all, I’ve come to understand that the greatest value in life lies in how we support and learn from each other, recognising the strength in sharing our stories.
